Our Story

Bella Vista Restaurant opened its doors in 2003, bringing authentic Italian cuisine from Naples to the Pacific Northwest. Founded by the Romano family, our restaurant embodies three generations of culinary tradition and passion for exceptional food.

The Romano Family Legacy

Chef Marco Romano learned to cook in his grandmother’s kitchen in Naples, where she taught him the secrets of traditional Neapolitan cooking. After moving to Seattle, Marco dreamed of sharing these authentic flavors with his new community. Together with his wife Sofia, they created Bella Vista – a place where families could gather and enjoy genuine Italian hospitality.

Our Philosophy

We believe that great food starts with great ingredients. That’s why we import authentic Italian products including San Marzano tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil from Tuscany, and buffalo mozzarella from Campania. Our pasta is made fresh daily, and our pizzas are cooked in a traditional wood-fired oven imported from Naples.

But ingredients alone don’t make a restaurant. At Bella Vista, we’re committed to creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere where every guest feels like family. Our team is passionate about providing exceptional service and sharing our love of Italian culture and cuisine.
